Kennedy Cares

Kennedy School is involved in a range of wonderful charity, community and eco-friendly projects.

  • ICM Charity Trip - (Est. October 2009) Annual trip where Kennedy children and their families help to build houses in Bacolod, Philippines.
  • Year 6 Annual Kiva sponsorship.
  • We use the En-Trak Energy Monitoring System which helps us to monitor our environmental impact across the whole school! Check out our data minute by minute at kennedy.en-trak.com. Login: student; Password: kennedy
  • Recycling Collections - paper, card, plastic, metal, glass, ink cartridges, small electricals.
  • Our PE Department is collecting second hand boots, trainers, sports clothes and kits. These will go towards developing football programmes for children in Cambodia. www.indochinastarfish.org/. The blue upcycling bin can be found in the school office.
  • A group of seven Year 6 children visit the John F Kennedy Centre on a regular basis to read to the children there.
  • Walk to School Wednesdays - we encourage our children to reduce pollution and join our walking buses on Wednesdays
  • We are collecting used postage stamps (from any country) for a women’s refuge in the UK.
